Urban Groove

5 Week Course £30

Venue & Times: The Centre Mawsley 7.15 – 8pm
Course Dates: Wednesday 15th September – Wednesday 20th October.

If you are an ex dancer, a kitchen dancer or just starting out, this fun high energy dance class is for you. UG is all about letting go, finding your own rhythm and dancing like no one is watching to upbeat RnB, Urban music.

You do not need a dance background to enjoy this class, as with all of our classes there is no pressure, just a warm and friendly environment for you to dance and enjoy yourself. UG includes Street and Commercial dance styles and steadily builds an achievable dance routine, backed up with supportive teaching that makes you feel successful and sassy! You will experience a variety of choreography that will challenge and inspire you and enjoy a good laugh throughout. All abilities and ages (16+) are welcome.

Please wear appropriate dance/fitness attire with trainers/dance trainers and bring water to keep hydrated.

(Please note there is no class every second Tuesday of the month)

Boogie Bounce

7 Week Course £49

Venue & Times: Fitter Body Ladies Kettering 7.30 – 8.15pm
Course Dates: Thursday 9th September – Thursday 21st October.

Did you know that 10 minutes of bouncing is the equivalent of 30 minutes running and it’s a good laugh, what’s not to like? NASA even agrees that bouncing is “the most efficient and effective exercise yet devised by man”. 

The programme uses High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T) techniques to maximise the most effective fat burning process in the cardio section, whilst using the pliable surface of the mat to perform a range of core stability exercises. Trampolining or Rebounding as it is also known has many health benefits including a fantastic full body workout, massive calorie burn, weight loss, increased metabolism, relieves stress, low impact on joints and ligaments, improves the Lymphatic system, reduces cellulite and is suitable for all abilities and ages (18yrs+). All trampolines have a 25st weight limit.

If you like the idea of a dance and fitness class that feels more like a night out than a workout, you’ll LOVE Clubbercise® With it’s fun, easy-to-follow dance routines, glow sticks, club anthems and disco lights, you are guaranteed to get your glow on!

Due to the high and low impact options, Clubbercise dance fitness classes are great if you’re just starting out on a fitness regime or if you’re already a fitness freak! As with all of our LWD Classes, you can choose to use the demonstrated modifications if needed and take the class at your own pace. All abilities and ages (18+) are welcome.

Glow Sticks are available to purchase for £5 per pair. Please wear appropriate fitness attire and bring both water and a towel, you are going to get a serious GLOW on!

BADASS is our BRAND NEW  dance fitness class launching in September. The programme is created and inspired by Bounce DanceFit, a street dance fitness programme. The class combines elements of street dance styles with combat and plenty of heart-pumping cardio!  You don’t want to miss this high energy amazing workout, trust me you will be sweating in style!

Sessions are designed to tone, burn calories, improve balance and fitness levels through dance, combat, cardio and conditioning. The rhythm and vibe of BADASS will get your heart pumping and leave you feeling like a serious BADASS!

The class is 45 minutes and suitable for all levels of fitness, as with all our classes you can opt to take our modifications for the more complex or high cardio moves.

All abilities, sizes and ages (16+) are welcome.

Adult Beginners Tap Class

Have you always watched classic films like Singing in the Rain and thought ‘I would love to tap dance’? Or maybe you did Tap as a child and would love to get your tap shoes back on!  Then come along to my fun, no ego let’s dance like no one is watching Adult Beginners Tap Class.

You will enjoy learning tap technique and choreography and I will have you doing time steps in no time! We will follow the National Association Teachers of Dancing (NATD) syllabus in addition to traveling choreography and performance.

If you are looking for an uplifting class and a good laugh with like-minded people then get your tap shoes on and come and join us.

Leggings and a well-fitting top are ideal clothing so that your instructor can see your alignment and posture throughout the class.
